I am creating a one-time payment through creating an invoice, then the invoice item. When I click the "pay" button I would like for it to pay the invoice that I created. It is reading an error stating that the invoice is already paid.

I have it set as collection_method = send_invoice

That Invoice is still in draft and no payment were made

Right. That is my issue. It hasn't been paid yet. So why is there an error message saying that it's already been paid instead of sending the invoice?
