hey @jolly arch - sure!

#

Ca you also share what difference you're noticing?

jolly arch
#

for example this sub_1M0SEMK6jaF9EpCmVriOB9EE don't have an end date, but this sub_1MEIm8K6jaF9EpCmVWTT0hsS yes
i want to understand why one has it and the other dont

#

I seem to have created them the same way, with the same script adding a sub schedule

#

so why does one see the end date and the other doesn't?

honest yarrow
#

So that i am looking at the same thing, can you show me what you're seeing / referring to?

jolly arch
#

I didn't understand the question

honest yarrow
#

I mean, you're saying you see an end date. Is this a cancellation date?

jolly arch
#

yes, all my subcriptions has this cancellation date but I have seen that very rarely some do not

#

and I would like to understand why
what is missing

honest yarrow
#

Are you expecting it to have one, or to not have one?

jolly arch
#

to have one

#

do they both have the sub schedule?

honest yarrow
#

No, sub_1...EE does not have a schedule attached

#

That's the difference here

#

Because it's the schedule has the release behaviour as cancel at the end of the schedule

jolly arch
#

but i always set a schedule for my subscriptions

#

what is the period mentioned in the first subscription (sub_1...EE) ?

#

i see a period with start and end

#

start Dec 4th, end Jan 4th 2023

honest yarrow
#

sub_1M0SEMK6jaF9EpCmVriOB9EE

#

I was just shortening it

#

SUre, that's the current billing cycle / billing period, with renewal on Jan 4

jolly arch
#

I'm not understanding why there are these differences between these 2 subscriptions since I create them with the same script

#

why one has a billing cycle and the other a sub schedule?

honest yarrow
#

All subscriptions have billing cycles, that's how renewal is managed to create the next invoice

#

Not all subscriptions have schedules

#

You created sub_1M0SEMK6jaF9EpCmVriOB9EE here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_hxxz2cl1oHOYhq
For sub_1MEIm8K6jaF9EpCmVWTT0hsS you created the schedule just after the subscription: https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_gcFLyeKqpG5Gwj

I see no corresponding request to create a schedule for the first subscription

#

The good news is that you can correct this and create the schedule now the same way

jolly arch
#

the first subscription without the schedule when will end?

honest yarrow
#

Never, unless you make changes

#

It will renew each month until canceled

jolly arch
#

so the way it's set up now it will never end?

honest yarrow
#

Correct - by default subscriptions renew at the end of the cycle unless you indicate something else should happen
