My impression is that we will do that if you only have a USD account to pay out to but your scenario sounds like that is not happening. https://stripe.com/docs/connect/currencies#currency-conversions

Yes, our only connected bank account is USD, so that was also my impression.

Hi there. Taking over for Pompey as they have to step out. Are you using direct charges or destination charges? And what are the types of the Connect accounts here (Custom, Standard, or Express)?

We're using destination charges, and the connect accounts are Express.

Ah ok this is expected then. When you pay out to your US bank account, the funds will be converted: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/currencies#application-fees-for-destination-charges-and-converting-balances

Right now we have payouts set to auto but it's not converting and paying out anything non-USD. It seems we can only do manual payouts. Is there any way to have this happen with automatic payouts?

Yeah unfortunately, AFAIK, you have to initiate a manual payout for this scenario
These currency conversions are created as manual payouts with currency set as the currency of the source balance:
