The account webhook will only get events from your platform and the connected webhook will only get events from your connected accounts.

Yes, you can set up both depending on what you want to listen to. It is very common to have both if you are a platform

when using the onboarding api to create connected accounts which will redirect the user to stripe to fully fill in their details. i noticed identity verification was required, is it optional?? because stripe has a different endpoint for that
