I think you can just add Price 2 to the Subscription and update its usage, then remove Price 1 when the usage period is up. Have you tried testing that with Test Clocks yet?

Hmm so stripe will start collecting usages in price 2 if two are defined for the same product ?

You report usage at the Subscription Item level, so as far as I know you can report usage for multiple Subscription Items on the same Subscription

I'm not sure I understand. Why not just stop reporting usage on Price 1 and start reporting usage on Price 2 (or vice-versa)?

You just report whatever the usage was when Price 1 ended
