to sum it up : I want a payment to be 8 days before my test actually happens

Double checking but I think it would mean it would go out the same day (assuming you are also doing daily payouts. Looking this up again...

Yeah, it is just for adding an extra delay once funds are available. Setting it to 0 just means no extra delay https://stripe.com/docs/connect/manage-payout-schedule

There are instant manual payouts though, not sure if they would be applicable to your situation but here is the intro doc https://stripe.com/docs/payouts/instant-payouts
