Hello! Yes, you can. You can call the Pay Invoice endpoint and set paid_out_of_band to true: https://stripe.com/docs/api/invoices/pay#pay_invoice-paid_out_of_band
And can I post date them? So for example: We are migrating to stripe, so when I create a customer and set them to be billed this month. All working through the api. Any issue with also adding say 6 months of historic invoices
6/1/22 - $10 pay-paid_out_of_band
7/1/22 - $10 pay-paid_out_of_band
8/1/22 - $10 pay-paid_out_of_band
9/1/22 - $10 pay-paid_out_of_band
10/1/22 - $10 pay-paid_out_of_band
11/1/22 - $10 pay-paid_out_of_band
New Subscription to bill to customer 12/1/22
We actually have a detailed guide for migrating subscriptions to Stripe here: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/migrate-subscriptions
I recommend you read through and follow that.
Thank you! I will read up
You can backdate Subscriptions: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/backdating
If I have 50 customers can I migrate 10 now and migrate the next 10, then the next 10 etc? or is it a single migration allowed"?
But I don't think you can backdate Invoices the way you're describing...
Ah I will read backdating subscriptions. That may get me everything I need for the revenue reports
I believe you can do them incrementally if you want.
Thank you so much for all of your assistance!
Happy to help!
