The Customer ID will help. Also what types of Payments are you referring to?

As per checking, these two subscriptions are independent as they belong to different customer ID (even though it's signed up using the same email address):

They are not duplicated charges, but a two separate subscriptions were created and charged accordingly
When a subscription is declined. Does the system try to charge the account again after certain period of time?

Subscription doesn't get declined. If the invoice payment is failed, it will be retried based on the retry setting under Manage failed payments section in https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/automatic
