@hasty ferry we strongly (really) discourage doing this, so the Price API doesn't support that. Technically you can hack it but I would really discourage even trying

ahaha, I honestly appreciate the discouragement from using custom ids
We ended up in an internal debate over whether to keep using the custom ids as they seemed kinda smelly but ended up landing on continuing to in the name of minimizing the diff.
Sounds like its worth biting the bullet and moving away from them though
