Hi, you said you were seeing this error when using the Billing Portal right?

And i got this response from support,
To recap, you were enquiring about a customer of yours being unable to update their US bank account. Taking a look into it, I was unable to find any glaring issues. The issue may stem from the bank account being a business bank account and not a personal one. I recommend that your customer tries a different bank account.
I'm not 100% sure what the customer's bank account type is, I've never really encountered any other bank account type other than Saving or Checking, so if "business account" is something that's normal for business to have, this would be very troubling.
Just looking at the error, it appears that you'r not able to use a business bank account. Instead, you'd need to use either a Saving or Checking account
I was trying to find a document that might cover this but I do not think it exists.

there is a specialty account that's catered to non profit.. but is this not a checking account?
Taking over here, and probably. Only they/their bank would know the detail
Ok well thanks everyone. Seems like nothing we can do here until we talk to them over a call.
Is there any Stripe documentation on handling Non checking/saving payment methods? Seems like we'll have to gracefully support these cases.
