We have a business with powerbank rental stations. Our payment idea is that you scan a QR code and we "reserve/block" a max of 20eur on your bank account. If you return it, we will charge with a max of 20 eur,

But in the api doc I see iDeal is not supported for hold-on payments

Is there any alternatives thats works kind of the same way for iDeal payments ?

Thank you for these details, this document, https://stripe.com/docs/payments/place-a-hold-on-a-payment-method#auth-capture-limitations mentions what Payment Methods are supported for placing a hold on a payment. These include cards, Afterpay, and Klarna

So the only way to do a hold on payment on iDeal is by Afterpay and Klarna

iDEAL does not support this at all.
