I don't think we have a firm timeline to turn it off for now but we will ask you to prioritize moving off of it. I'd recommend talking to our support team directly for more details.

And for alternatives it depends a bit which parts of the API you were relying on

ok - thank you. We're using it to build orders with line items dynamically. One of the principal benefits is creating products at the time the order is created. We have a large catalogue of furniture and didn't want to have to create all those products manually before the orders were built

and mostly you could handle the whole line items purely internally on your end and use the PaymentIntents API to accept a payment for the total amount
