Good question. I believe if you logout of the CLI and re-initialize it you will receive a new key. Have you tried that?

That said, why do you want to roll this key?

i tried to log out and in again, same key. don't tell anyone but i committed it by accident 😛

and i assume it's supposed to be a secret/private key of some sort

hm i found some API keys here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/apikeys

but they begin with rk_test_... instead of whsec_... but maybe they are connected regardless?

Yeah the CLI secret is unique for the CLI

#

It won't be the same key as your endpoint secret

#

So someone would have to be able to login to your account with the CLI to utilize that key.

ah okay, fair enough. so it's probably not a big deal if it leaks, but it would be nice to be able to rotate it anyway i feel like
