Hi 👋
So you are using the JavaScript driven integration?
The WisePOS E and the computer running the integration (on the front-end) need to be on the same local network so sharing the site with me won't allow me to do anything (since my browser is not on the same local network).
Hey, yes correct, I'm sharing the site to show you that I'm using the same sample provided on the website, it worked yesterday when I changed DNS from the browser to Google Public DNS. However, it won't work today which is odd.
Where did you change DNS routing?
And have you reviewed the Troubleshooting guide we have for the Wise POS E here? https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/readers/bbpos-wisepos-e
In Chrome settings, and yes I did, all seems good on the reader
Have you set the DNS router settings in the Wise POS E reader itself?
Not sure I understand, this worked yesterday without making changes in the reader itself. Also, where can I find the DNS router settings in the reader?
We discuss this in the troubleshooting docs I shared. You can change the network settings on the reader.
It only talks about changing network settings for router, browser, apple devices...etc
There is no guidance on changing that for the reader itself
And you updated the router?
No I didn't update the router
Just Google Chrome DNS settings and it worked yesterday, today it doesn't work
Can you share your reader's serial number?
this is it: WSC513111007007
Also, if you click discover readers on this link, you should get all reader data; https://wpmegaforms.com/stripe-terminal/
I'm seeing a large number of reader errors where the Wise POS E cannot connect to Stripe networks. Does your router have firewall rules?
I'm not aware of any, if it did I doubt it would work yesterday
I had this issue before I tried changing chrome DNS, once I did yesterday, it worked, but today it doesn't
which is really odd
I'm seeing a large number of network resolution failures in the device logs on our end, which is why I ask
Except that, with the JavaScript integration, the errors you are receiving from your JavaScript code are indicating that the JS runtime cannot connect to the Wise POS E.
And I'm adding that the Wise POS E appears to not be able to communicate with stripe.com either
Any hints on what might be the reason for this and how can I resolve.
I believe that the reader able to connect to stripe because it return "status:online", otherwise it wouldn't
The domain it is failing to connect to is armada.stripe.com
I'm able to access from the browser without issues
It would be really helpful if you can guide me on how to solve this issue, it doesn't make sense that it works sometimes and sometimes not. I have tried everything possible and my options are limited.
What do you see when you open the Settings on the Wise POS E and check the Diagnostics menu?
