Sure, we currently have one Stripe account. From talking to a Stripe sales rep, they wanted us to create an account per product line, which sounded like they would be linked to the original account. Which could be the connected account/sub account.
What you describe are completely separate/unrelated Stripe accounts
each one would have their own settings, API keys and webhook endpoints

yes they are basically unrelated Stripe accounts, there's no "connection" or "data sharing" between each
you can get access to them all in the Dashboard if you use the same team member(s)/email to sign up but that's it
