From there you can control what happens when payments fail for Subscriptions.

so in a case when there is no card on file, what would it be retrying?
i'd want it to cancel if there is no card on file at all
i have a product that does not require payment upfront during trial, but user has to provide a payment prior to trial end otherwise the subscription gets cancelled
When they don't have any payment info on file all of the retries (zero of them) will fail and the failed payment behavior will kick in.
