Where are they getting the error?
this is what I see when I use Chrome 69 (via Browserstack), over on https://stripe.dev/elements-examples/ too for example
the error gets thrown quite a few times
Gotcha. And is this breaking functionality?
Yes, the Stripe input fields do not work at all because of the errors. You can't fill them out
And we're fairly certain it still worked a few days ago for older browsers. We still have quite a few visitors and potential customers who are using a Chrome version between 50-70, or iPad users who are stuck at 10.3 for example, that are now unable to use our payment form
Gotcha, but those same customers didn't have a problem with those same browser versions recently?
Nope, it's only been today that we noticed. It definitely still worked one week ago is what we can say for sure
I first suspected that a change to our shop might have caused something to behave weirdly, but since it's also happening on the official Stripe example site with a Chrome Version 69, it's probably a change within that
Gotcha thanks for all the details. Let me see what I can find
Thank you!
Also which example are you seeing this on in our docs? Can you link it?
I just opened https://stripe.dev/elements-examples/ with Chrome <= 70 in order to reproduce the error, the examples listed there can't initialize the stripe input fields and thus are empty

as opposed to when I open it with a recent Firefox, where the input fields work and are responsive as expected
Got it thanks
We are also facing the exact same issue
Got it thanks. I reported it to the owning team and they're investigating
Ok the team identified the bug. They're working on a fix
thanks for the update
@void rain @stiff quiver This should be fixed now, can you confirm?
will check, thanks!
looks like the CC is being accepted, and idk if this is related, but a bunch of other errors were thrown (see attached)
Thanks for flagging. The r.stripe.com requests shouldn't impact the payment functionality, but we'll look into those errors.
I did just run a credit card transaction all the way through and it looks like it worked.
