When you say "fail on production" do you mean that the account is not created? Where do they fail?
Also, did you check the API version you're using for test versus production? Are they the same?

The validation rules should be the same. I would check the API versions first. If they are they same, then I may need specific examples of the 2 requests, whether that be screenshots or Request logs in the Stripe Dashboard.
