Sorry for the delay. Can you clarify the issue? You did not get the invoice.upcoming 30 days before the end of the billing cycle for this subscription? And is it only for this subscriptions or all of them?
yes, it is for all of them..
basically, we want to send emails to all customers before 30 days of their subscription ends..
And when did you change that setting in your dashboard?

yes, earlier send email 7 days in advance, which was working fine..But now we want to send email 30 days in advance which is not working..

we need to send email prior to 30 days to all customers..

so email should get triggered for renewal
Thank you for the example. This setting should work for all customers going forward. I think that it may only be sent when a subscription will renew 30 days from 11/11 or onward though
Like I don't think a subscription that renews on 12/10 would have this email send out but anything that renews 12/11, 12/12, etc will trigger this invoice.upcoming event

Checking in to the events you have received here. I think it is possible that you were always seeing expected behavior
Yes, by checking the event documentation..It should have sent email.
We set the settings from 07 days to 30 days on 11th of November from the stripe dashboard.
So example : For sub_1KWp66FhVjYxAF2vGYvBtdYf subscription is ending on 24th of November , the customer should have received an email for renewal by now..But the email is not getting triggered..We verified with other customers as well..
Ah, do the docs say that we backfill those events?
Hi there 👋 jumping in as my teammate needs to step away soon. I believe the system is behaving as expected, because the date/time for when to trigger the creation of those events is set based off of the current settings when the Subscription is updated (typically at the change of a billing cycle). So I'm fairly certain it is expected that Subscriptions which were created before you changed that setting will not pick up the setting change until their next billing period.
Also looking closer at sub_1KWp66FhVjYxAF2vGYvBtdYf now, I do see that it is currently set to cancel at the end of this subscription period. So I think that makes sense that you did not get an event for it
okay..so if the subscription is made and the renewal setting is set to 7 days..Then even though we change the setting to 30 days at later stage, the subscription will not pick up that setting until the end period is over??
ex: sub_IUsv06NJT9zAhV is subscribed on 2021-12-02 with the renewal setting set to 7 days and ends on 2022-12-02, now even though the renewal setting is changed to 30 days, it still consider 7 days for the above subscription..Right?
Yes, that is my understanding. Based on what I'm seeing for that Subscription, I expect it would send an update on Nov 25, and then for next year will pick up the changed setting and begin sending out upcoming events 30 days in advance rather than 7.

Just 1 last question, what do we need to do, if we want to make 30days for all the subscribed/new customers? Just remove the 7 days setting and add 30 days for all..Is it possible?
I don't think it is possible to make that change for existing Subscriptions.
