There's no create_data in Checkout session creation API. So the workaround is to set the meta data in webhook endpoint when it receives the checkout.session.completed event

Yes aware of that but I wanted it (the metadata) in the webhook for the payment_intent and it would not be updated in time. No worries I will figure something out

I can just use the payment_intent metadata
