I'm just trying to get to the product names in the subscription. But the api only gives me the "nickname" which is meant for internal use only. I need to show the actual product name to the customer

I'm afraid there is no way to get to product from the Subscriptions List API, https://stripe.com/docs/expand#lists as Expand can only go 4 levels deep.
