Hi there 👋 no there is not. Creating a Payment Method using that approach does trigger a check to determine validity of the card, that happens when attaching the Payment Method to the Customer.
So, it's a two-step process with validation run at the second step? Maybe there is a way to run the checks at the first step?
I don't think that's an option, but will need to double check. Also, I noticed in your initial post that you used the word declined and wanted to clarify that even if our validation checks pass the future payment may still be declined.
Yes, but it is ok for us. What we would like to have is a validation on the client side without the second step that involves going to the server.
