Is this what you're looking for?
yep exactly- however, I seem to be unable to un-restrict all spending limits with the ruby library
if I send {"spending_limits": []}, it doesn't look to be sent in the POST body
Ahhh, I'm not sure if you can unset spending limits with an empty array. Can you simply set the amount field to a really large integer?
ah I see
I can!
thank you for checking on this
but just so I'm clear -
this is an expected limitation, right?
are you able to update the docs at the link above about this?
and furthermore: is it possible to create a card without limits?
I think the current workflow to solve this without setting a large amount is to contact support and request that they remove the default limits so that you don't have to "unset" anything. The below quotes are from the same docs I referenced before:
If you don’t set spending_limits, a default spending limit is applied to the newly created card in the amount of 500 USD per day. Contact Support to disable this behavior.
In addition to the configurable spending_limits, a default spending limit in the amount of 10000 USD is also applied to each authorization. Contact Support to disable this behavior.
oh yes, that I'm currently in the process of removing 🙂
but for cards that have a limit in existence already (e.g. set by the customer)- there's not a way to unset those, correct?
Correct. That's a limitation that I can definitely provide feedback to the product team for
