@elfin rapids not entirely sure what you need/how to help exactly. This looks like purely a connection error between your server and ours right?

our API timeout is 30s, so if it doesn't timeout it's because you never either reach us or hear back

we moved away from Faraday in 5.0.0 because it caused issues too. Have you considered upgrading stripe-ruby to the latest?

It's definitely on our roadmap to upgrade stripe-ruby. I don't think there is anything you need to do, more just posting in case someone else sees the same issue.
