Can you provide an example of what you're referring to? What specifically is showing up in a non-localized language?
Hello, the article itself shows up in an invoice, this is not localizeable so far I know
In an email? PDF download link on dashboard?
I create an article, Name it "Subscription", and want this to be localized in DE, FR, IT, etc.
Name and description shows everywhere the same
invoice PDF, checkout page, but mandatory for us is invoice PDF
Ah, okay. Yeah, since those are set by you and are an arbitrary string, they don't get converted to localized language
I see, and how people deal with this in the field? It is not a super special requirement to localize article names and descriptions, right?
It depends. If you want to provide localized language support for names and descriptions, you would want to create additional products that are written in the desired language and then check the locale on your end (there are a number of methods for doing this), but as of now Stripe simply puts exactly what you write for those fields without converting.
ok, I thought so. I hoped there would be a way to adjust description in pdf or checkout page somehow. Using different prices means to handle for each language a new article, this does not work for our subscriptions. Unless stripe provides a localization feature I have to live with this it seems. Thank you anyway for clarification.
