Good question, I think we may not allow that because we don't allow subscriptions with products that cycle differently (monthly vs yearly), so all three would need to be upgraded or downgraded together. Will double check and get back to you

Hey apologies it took me a bit to look in to this but it looks like that is indeed the restriction at the moment. Upsells only work if there is one item in the cart, so even if all of the products have the same price cycles to upsell to (ie. if you have a couple monthly prices that each have a yearly price), the upsell UI will not be available.

Unfortunately not. Upsells are set on the prices themselves, so you can achieve the same configuration with the API but it would also not appear as an upsell if there are other prices in the Checkout Session
