No that's using our current recommended flow, the default_incomplete -- it's normal to have these incomplete when the customer doesn't confirm the payment

for the two subscription issues, i'd ask if there's a later point you can defer to creating

like the next step in the flow or something, to reduce these cases

It sounds like you're doing everything right, but maybe just want to explicitly cancel some of the unnecessary subscriptions
