I think you should be able to create a mandate the way they do in this section of our doc on migrating from the Plaid integration to our PaymentIntents integration https://stripe.com/docs/payments/ach-debit/migrations#mandate-acknowledgement

Still looking in to what exactly that might look like.

Thanks for the reply. Yes. The reason is that we already have a lot of customers with their ACHs set up on Plaid and want to avoid the friction of migrating them to a new one.

Generating the mandate through a payment intent is what we want to avoid since it's getting users through (yet) another pop up screen
