#sina - Connect + Terminal

Hi 👋
That depends. Are these accounts Standard and the Reader is associated directly with them? Or is the reader associated with your account?
I think they express accounts
You can review how to integration Terminal with Connect here: https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/features/connect
I've read it all but my question still stands. Do we need the user to provide us with an identifier like terminal ID or serial number in order for us to list it in the settings? Or can we just query all the available readers for that connected account?
sina - Connect + Terminal
I believe I found the answer here
They get a registration code and input that into the POS
So first we make a Location for them and put the connected account ID in the metadata. Then when they register the reader we pass the Location ID. Then we can discover and connect to the readers.
Thanks for your help haha
Sorry one more question. Customers will call our merchant support to order the readers. I only see one checkout flow for ordering hardware in the Stripe dashboard for our platform and it doesn't have an option to select a Connected account to bill the reader to.
Do I understand that we should pay for the reader as a platform, ship it to the customer, and then bill them for the hardware separately through their connected account?
That is correct and you can specify the shipping address on those Connect readers: https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/fleet/placing-orders#shipping
