In that case 3DS should automatically work if your users use a card that needs it

Are you running in to a scenario where it isn't working?

Yes it allowed 2 cards to process payment that actually had 3D but did not request any verification

Ah, that is usually because the customer's bank itself doesn't request 3DS. We always display 3DS when the bank asks for it but it is ultimately up to them to decide.

That being said I think there are settings you can turn on to request it more

However, would that then block cards who actually do not have 3DS?

No, those rules would just make sure to ask the bank to request 3DS more often. Cards without 3DS won't be affected

Yes, the second two settings were the ones that I am talking about. Those will ask the bank to request 3DS more often than it normally would
