Hi there!
We have a feature to enable/disable radar on specific transactions with the API. But if you want this you need to contact Stripe support to request access: https://support.stripe.com/contact
Hi,
Ok i'll make the contact, but do you know technically - with this feature - if that requires us to pass some field/value so that it can be detected to enable Radar on it ?
Correct, you'll get an extra API parameter you can pass when creating payment to enbale/disable Radar.
Also, when i am am connected as the connected account, in stripe dashboard (to see what merchants see).
I see that they have access to "Parameters > Enable Radar for Fraud team" :
- they have possiblity to enable it themselve ?
- does it means its only enable for transactions destined to their connected account ?
(Ok noted for the extra parameter. I'll follow-up with your support on this one)
Are your connected accounts standard accounts?
I see type "Express"
Express account have access to a very simplified Stripe dashboard https://stripe.com/docs/connect/express-dashboard
They don't have any access to the Radar settings.
This is weird, because :
- i see type is "express" on my platform view of this connected account
- when i am connected as my merchant, i see fraud menu in payment, with possiblity to enable it (while connected as merchant)
- when i click on enable the trial period, it shows the radar activate screen
- i just tested : i clicked on it, still being in "as merchant dashboard view"; and it enabled it. I see it now enabled as merchant.
(note : my mistake i though there was an additonnal step to enable it, but it enabled it directly. Is it possible to disable the trial without loosing trial period afterward for acct_1LcW3pPvCeZSwTxb ?) - then, when i go back on my platform dashboard, and i check the same radar menus, it is not enable at platform level.
=> if it is indeed enabled at connected account (express) level : who is paying the additionnal radar cost paid ? how ?
Note : we use two model of transfers to connected account on the platform,
- "separate charge & transfer"
- and "on behalf of" (specialy for "crossborder" transfer/currencies)
Sorry but here on Discord we are not very familiar with the Dashboard or with Stripe fees. So I would recommend to ask Stripe support directly: https://support.stripe.com/contact
