I see one email uniformly set on both the charge and the customer. What email address is getting the receipts and which one is supposed to get them?
(feel free to DM me those so that they're not made available to the public)
should be coming from cs@bishopcider.com but the footer of the receipt says joel@bishopcider.com
Neither of those email addresses are listed on the charge you sent me

I would expect this to be the email that is attached to the connected account
I believe that defaults to whichever merchant facilitated the payment.
Since you have a Connect account involved, the footer will have the email of whichever account was responsible for actually processing the payment, as far as I know
yeah thats where i believe my issue is, the connected account updated the email address but its not being reflected
Do you know for certain that the update took place before the charge was created?
yes the update happened 2 days ago and the charge i just made today
Do you know if the update takes time to go into effect?
It should be faster than that.

I can flag this with the product team to see if they have a good explanation of the behavior. As far as I can tell, that footer shouldn't contain the old email.
Ah, wait... I think that it might be pulling contact information from the destination account (acct_1HDvFRHkeefqQsbr). Can you log into that one and change the contact details? It looks like this account still has the old joel@ address

ive updated the email address on the main account and the connected account to be cs@bishopcider.com but the recepits are still coming back with joel@ which is the old email address

what email is shown as the Support email?

The email receipt comes from updating a charge for a customer

So the charge happens on a connected account
im updating a charge to be the email of the customer it was attached to so that they receive a receipt
The issue is that in the footer of the receipt there is an email address for the associated connected account that is old and out of date and and not reflecting the new one added

Okay the support email is still listed as joel@. If you use "login as" and update the Support email at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public and save it can you let me know if that works?
Additionally can you try using the API and setting the business_profile.support_email property?
