It really depends on what you'd like to happen with that invoice

if its a free credit period, voiding the invoice seems like the thing you'd want to do, alongside setting the trial period

So voiding the invoice and setting the trial period wouldn't cancel the subscription, just delay the next invoice until the free credit period ends? We're looking to not double bill the client during this credit period
