I’ve settled for creating an invoice for the client manually and then refunding their Stripe Checkout payment when this invoice has been paid

#

Seems like the only way to avoid a duplicate transaction in the system without the beta feature

yeah I would recommend never doing that, really bad experience for your customer to pay twice, and you lose money since we don't refund our fee on refund

It’s the first time it has happened, usually B2B clients email for an invoice before paying

It feels a bit like they’re in the wrong to be asking for an invoice in the first place - almost like walking into a supermarket and requesting it, right?

Yeah I can't speak to that, ultimately it's a common ask, that's why we have that beta. Hopefully you can get in soon 🙂
