Only for live mode

#

Test mode you don't need to complete verification

"The Apple domain for the connected account must be registered by you (the platform) using your Live mode key."

as in to do this do the connect accounts need to be authorised by stripe:

Activate Apple Pay as a payment method on the connected account(s) in the Payment Method settings area of their Dashboard.

This process cannot be completed before the connected account is activated.
