I should also add, I tried to simulate this with test clocks, but it does not create that draft invoice <1h
Hello ๐
I believe draft invoices can be updated. With that said, the timestamp on the usage record has to be within the billing period of the invoice I think
As far as my understanding goes, you should be able to test this via test clocks ๐ค
Maybe you can see if my process was correct here, but I created a customer, created a 1 month subscription (basic one, just to see if the invoice gets created), incremented from Oct 18 @ 3pm (sub start date -> Nov 18 @ 2:30pm, and I was expecting to see the upcoming invoice, but didnt, let me re run the test
Yeah so its still in this current state, so as you can see, the subscription lapses at 2:03 feb 18, and the timeclock is 1:30p feb 18
Customer has no draft invoices
Im ASSUMING it would work too as you mentioned, but it would be nice to test without waiting for 1 day to go by to test a daily subscription in the test env ๐
My logic here is that, even in the last hour, it would be very possible for Stripe's customers to create usage records in that time, in which they still need to be accounted for
Can you increment the clock by an hour and see if that creates a new invoice?
there you go ๐
Ok thanks, ill have to test making usage stats during that cycle and see if it applies to the draft
