hi! well I would try to avoid that happening in general(don't allow the call to Stripe's confirmSetup function to happen until you validate whatever it is you need, upfront). But otherwise, if the SetupIntent was successfully confirmed but your backend rejects the next step, you shouldn't confirm it a second time. So you probably want to disable any card form you have and only allow editing of the non-payment parts
