Have you tried to test what amount shows up here in test mode? That should reflect the live mode behavior
I am looking in to what we have documented here, we definitely should tax the right amount based on the seller if that affects the amount that should be taxed. So if that doesn't currently happen I will put in a feature request
Well, it behaves perfectly well for EU countries : the applied VAT is the one of the country. For outside of EU, our accounting team tells us that the included VAT should the french one (20%) but it's 0% that the checkout session ends up using
I think we'll manage the tax declaration for sales outside of EU countries with our accounting team rather than Stripe Tax
Gotcha, unfortunately I'm having trouble finding whether Stripe Tax does support this in some way/ It should as it sounds like this is a common tax scenario for EU countries, I think I may just not be familiar enough with our docs to find this. If you reach our to our support team, they may have better info on whether this is possible for us to calculate automatically https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
Ok thank you!
