Can you clarify what you mean by "pre-authorized payments"?

we are developing a use case where the buyer pre-authorize the payment (but not actually charged) to reserve the seat, and then when the seat is confirmed by the company, the actual payment happens without payer's second approval.

if the seat is never confirmed, then the pre-authorization expires after 24 hours.

and the actual charge never really happens.
