hi, you generally would test in test mode using your test API keys and test card numbers, not in live mode

I get that, and we've done that. the question is not about testing.

we want to be users of our own product, meaning that we need an active subscription to our service

ie. this is not:

to clarify: we are launching a service that we ourselves want to be users of (ie. dogfood), and I'm asking what the recommended way is to go about this without getting our account flagged
