Hey there! I have the receipt email which is great. It's actually sending the receipt again which is the issue
I see that the email will resend if i change the email address on the charge (if I'm reading correctly), but it's only the Customer's name that is being updated unfortunately
Right. The documentation for updating that parameter linked to above reads:
This is the email address that the receipt for this charge will be sent to. If this field is updated, then a new email receipt will be sent to the updated address.
That's fine, you should be able to update the email to the same email to resend it.
