Yeah, anything new should work with the newer APIs. The only think that those APIs can do that the modern ones can't is support 1 or 2 specific local payment methods. I forget which ones those are but can look it up in a moment

So you kind of hit the nail on the head. Anyone working with a legacy integration can keep working with them until it makes sense to upgrade, otherwise using the newer APIs is cleaner and allows access to our newer offerings.

Perfect, cause yeah I am going through the Stripe Arch. Cert training, and also working through the workbook, and there is sections on charges/sources specifically with cards & ach.....but it seems regressive. I also have to train some developers new to stripe afterwards, so I'd much rather steer them clear of this (maybe just explain why it exists, but not go through the process with charges/sources)
