i am using stripe connect platform with several express accounts

however, some small sellers don't want to go through the hassle of setting up their own express accounts

can i group them to sell under the banner of one express account?

and they will handle payout separately?

No it's not possible as I am aware of. Each Connected Account should have one Payout for one currency

right i mean the Stripe payout will still go to one person

and then the actual people payout will be handled separately off Stripe

On behalf of Stripe I would say we /discourage/don't recommend that. On technical side it sounds possible

Like, each Connected Account is considered a business and you can have multiple members of a business

Unfortunately I don't have examples. We are developers team and probably don't have access to such statistic data 😅

any idea who i should talk to to get greenlight on this approach

for example: i see a few marketplaces like PopShop, Whatnot etc. -- they handle payments. And payouts seem to happen separately (either via ACH or Paypal)

that makes me think maybe not every seller has a dedicated stripe connect account

Not very sure about the part happen separately. Yes payments and payout should happen separately if that's what you are referring to
