Hi there 👋 I'm not sure off-hand if there is pre-built support for this scenario, but will look to see if I can locate any.

If not, my suggestion would be to look into the approach you're mentioning of canceling the card, but adding a layer where you reject authorization requests after you approve one to minimize the risk of multiple charges being made.
