Hello! You'll likely want to talk to Kajabi about this, since this will depend on how their integration works
@warped kiln Please respond in the thread 🙂
They have an integration for sales tax called Quaderno but it won't update the price on the Kajabi sales page so that is why I am wondering whether Stripe will be able to do that or if I need to purchase ThriveCart (or something similar)
Yeah, the reason I think it's better to talk to Kajabi is that I have no idea how they've integrated with Stripe. If they're using Checkout then yes you can turn on automatic tax and it'll be reflected in the checkout session, but that also needs a code change (https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout/taxes) and again, I don't know if they use Checkout
Got it. Thank you!
This is the response I got from Kajabi. Does this make sense to you?
I'm afraid I may need to redirect you with Stripe for more details on this since Kajabi does not have any hold or configuration control over customer payments. Payment configuration including tax, attempts, and other settings native to Stripe.
What we can offer is how to setup your chosen payment merchant, be it Stripe or Paypal or via Zapier or Webhooks. But if you're looking into taxing options for your customers, you may also want to raise this concern to our Facebook Community to check with other site owners or heroes on what they use and if Stripe Tax is enough.
