Also. this description makes me think we only allow applying promo codes when upgrading the subscription
and not for existing sub

So if a customer wants to stay on their current subscription, they can't use a promo code?

I believe they can, but you'd likely need to build your own UI for that and update the subscription accordingly.

Out of curiosity, You do see the prompt to enter a promo code when you attempt to update correct?

Do you mean when I choose another subscription?

if I choose to change subscription, then when paying for a new subscription, I see a field for entering a promo code

Gotcha. yeah, seems like the portal doesn't support your usecase.
An alternative would be to build your own UI to accept the promo code and update the subscription by calling the API

I got it, thanks for the help, one more small question, in cases where I pass an array with more than 10 products in the products field, I get an error:

StripeInvalidRequestError: A PortalConfiguration can only display a maximum of 10 products.

Is there any way to remove this limitation? , I did not find information on changing the parameter of the number of displayed products in the documentation
