It depends on how you use the firebase integration, but as far as I can see they shouldn't have impact. Also the firebase integration is about using Checkout, which could possibly generate Subscription and Invoices, but the Automatic Collection you linked is for standalone Invoice, not Invoice in Subscription

Is the automatic collection only for one time product invoices. It doesn't work for sub invoices?
