do you mean you want it Invoiced in the next upcoming Invoice, and then no more metered billing?

Yeah, right. Basically when I'm deleting a metered usage subscription item, I don't want to lose the usage reported so far and I would like to add the usage to the upcoming invoice

yeah so you can't delete the metered SubscriptionItem at that point then. You have to report usage, wait for the next recurring cycle to charge it, then delete the SubscriptionItem
