You have full control over when a subscription starts, so i would think that if you want to change the billingCycleAnchor, you would start a new phase at that point in time then

alternatively, as a workaround, you could always create a Subscription first, then create a Subscription Schedule from that Subscription

it shouldn't create two subscriptions. Can you share more on why you think two subscriptions will get created?

Goal is to start subscription at a future point in time.

1. So can I create a subscription which does not start immediately and then create a schedule from that?
2. Also once the schedule ends does it start the subscription?

ah okay, then no, if you're not starting the subscription immediately, then the workaround isn't possible
