Thanks! I believe it's because the price used for that subscription already includes tax

#

And the tax rate used in that request was created as an exclusive tax rate

gotcha, I see now in test mode i had it working with tax behavior unspecified. many thanks!

ah, that's the case with the API as well. once a price's tax behavior has been set as inclusive or exclusive, it can't be changed.
